The best among all the places we've stayed in Rome

It was definitely the best among all the places we've stayed in Rome so far! Extremely clean apartment in the charming local neighbourhood. Super comfortable mattresses and pillows! Friendly owner who provides clear instructions for self check in. We were very pleased to find coffee, tea, candies and bottled water. We didn't cook but if you want you can also find all you need including spices and seasonings. We also really appreciated the umbrellas — they were a lifesaver on a rainy day!

Even a 5-star review feels short of how awesome this place is!

We stayed in the lovely city of Rome from 31st October to 7th November 2025, on the return leg of our Italy trip, and chose Alexander’s Home. To start with, Alexander is an outstanding host. He is mindful of even the smallest details,like keeping garment fresheners in the cupboards, something I hadn’t seen in any of the other accommodations during our three weeks in Italy. His thoughtfulness really stood out. The apartment matches the pictures in the listing perfectly, and all the facilities were exactly as described. Due to his work commitments, we met Alexander at his workplace to collect the keys, which was no inconvenience at all. He also sent us a video explaining how to enter the gated complex and building, along with the access code for the flat. Everything was so well thought out and smooth that we never felt stressed. The interiors are chic, tasteful, and minimalist, classy yet practical, without any clutter. Everything in the apartment is well placed and thoughtfully arranged, making our stay very pleasant and comfortable. The location is excellent: Lucio Sestio metro station is just a 5-minute walk from the quiet, quintessential residential complex. The neighborhood felt homely, with families, children, and elderly residents who were warm and friendly, making us feel welcome. There are plenty of good, well-priced eateries nearby, and we especially enjoyed shopping at iN’s Mercato S.p.A. and IperDEM Supermercati, which quickly became our favorite daily stores. One small note: the shower cabin may feel a bit tight for taller or larger guests (my husband is 6’2”), but the shower itself was the best we experienced in Italy. It offered both a hand shower and a large overhead shower, with settings to choose from. Occasionally, the hot water would switch to cold mid-shower, but it wasn’t a major issue and never disrupted our stay. All in all, Alexander’s Home was a wonderful place to stay, comfortable, safe, and welcoming.

Mieszkanie w pełni wyposażone, czyste, na zamkniętym osiedlu. Wygodne łóżka, klimatyzacja w obu sypialniach, przestronnie. W kuchni wszystko co potrzeba do gotowania, można było poczuć się jak w domu. W łazience pralka z detergentami, szampon, odżywka i żel pod prysznic, a także waga łazienkowa ;) Dookoła pełno rożnych sklepów, do metra niedaleko, przepyszna pizza prawie pod blokiem. Super gospodarz!

La ubicación nos pareció excelente por estar cerca del metro, con el se llegaba a todos los sitios turísticos. Facilidad para aparcar el coche en la calle. El alojamiento es completo, con todo lo que pudimos necesitar, las habitaciones grandes. La atención del propietario fue excelente. Cerca de comercios.
