Our stay in Takayama hosted by Hiromi and Coco was a highlight of our trip in Japan. They immediately made us feel at home with their hospitality. Hiromi was amazing at giving us recommendations for things to do and food to eat around town.
The location was another standout, positioned in the city's most scenic street, right next to Sakurayama shrine. It was a maximum of 10 minutes to the city's main attractions.
The rooms were also very spacious and we got to pick between a traditional Japanese tatami or a modern room.
We would definitely come back and stay here again!

This was a perfect stay for our brief trip to Takayama. Hiromi was a kind and gracious host and her home was welcoming and very comfortable. Coco was an added bonus, adorable and sweet. The location was near everything we wanted to see and do. Don’t hesitate to stay here, it was perfect!

Une immersion locale parfaite et une expérience inoubliable ! 10/10"Si vous cherchez à vivre Takayama 'comme un local', c'est l'adresse absolue ! L'emplacement est idéal : la maison se trouve à deux pas du sanctuaire Sakurayama Hachiman, et on fait tout à pied, de la vieille ville aux marchés du matin.Hiromi est une hôte extraordinaire et d'une gentillesse incroyable. Elle nous a aidernet nois a amener avec sa voiture .elle a joué le rôle d un hôte à la perfection, en nous aidant à réserver les meilleurs restaurants de bœuf de Hida et en nous partageant ses adresses secrètes. La maison est d'une propreté étincelante, spacieuse et offre le confort et la tranquillité d'un logement entièrement privatisé.seul les propriétaires habite également dans le logement. On s'y sent tout de suite comme chez des amis. Et que dire de Coco le chien ? Ce magnifique Chow-Chow est d'un calme et d'une douceur absolus, nous l'avons adoré. Une hospitalité d'une générosité rare qui a été le point fort de notre voyage au Japon. Allez-y les yeux fermés !"
Déplus il y a possibilité de parquer sa voiture devant la maison.
Le seul regret que nous avons eu est de ne dormir qu une seul nuit ici.

ホストさんの笑顔が絶えず、気遣いも素晴らしく、とてもいい方でした。看板犬のココアさんがとても可愛かったです！
部屋も清潔で落ち着いていて、ゆったりくつろげました。
一階に手を洗うスペースがあれば尚良いと思いました。
