Unable to check in on arrival

We were unfortunately unable to check into the accommodation upon arrival in the evening. We tried to contact the owner multiple times by phone, but there was no response. We were two families traveling with two small children, and despite asking for assistance at the reception, nobody was able to help us access the property. We experienced exactly the same issue that several previous guests had already mentioned in recent reviews. As a result, we were forced to look for alternative accommodation late in the evening after a long journey from Europe, which was extremely stressful and disappointing for our families. Afterwards, when I informed the owner that we had tried calling and were unable to enter the property, he claimed that we had not been there and that no calls had been made, which was simply not true. We hope this situation will be properly addressed so that future guests do not experience the same problem.

Disappointing stay due to misrepresentation of the property and poor overall condition, which did not justify the cost.

The location was convenient and the building itself has good potential. The host did attempt to relocate us to another apartment when we raised concerns.

Unfortunately, the apartment we were originally given was not the one advertised on Booking.com. We were not informed of ongoing building works, which meant the balcony was unusable. Outdoor furniture was placed inside the apartment, making it feel cluttered, and there was rubbish left on the balcony. The furniture was damaged and not in good condition. When we were moved to a second apartment, this was also below an acceptable standard. There were visible holes in the doors and the floors were extremely dirty. Overall, the property did not reflect the photos or description online, especially given the price paid.

At 4:00 PM, the host finally answered my phone call and informed us that the property was experiencing a leaking pipe. As a result, we had to change our plans and book another property at the last minute. Please also note that there is a $130 cleaning fee that must be paid on top of the total booking amount.

This apartment is extremely difficult to access, with ongoing parking issues. The owner never showed up to provide access, which forced me to book another hotel for the night. To make matters worse, I requested a refund and it was denied, leaving me no option but to file a dispute with my credit card company.

Owner did not coordinate properly . Requested extra fee 50 usd for arriving after 830pm. I Declined the option. At the end, a code was not provided to be handed the keys upon meeting the host. Had to message after arrived to obtain code and delayed the process. Add to the fact that the keys that were handed were not the KEYS of the place but from a different apartment. Apartment was unlocked and stayed unlocked during the whole stay. Notified the host. never responded or solved the problem of the wrong keys.

Left my one of my phones in the apartment and never recovered. Host did not even offer to look for the phone.

Views were good and accurate, it was spacious.

Host not the most communicative, front desk does not know what to do, the elevators are extremely terrible and slow. Took almost 20 minutes on check out mornings.
