Enjoyable stay

Very clean and comfortable. Close to shops and buses. Quiet neighbourhood. Responsive staff.

The 'smart handle' system malfunctioned and I was locked out. No antislip mat for shower/bath. One bedroom door didn't stay shut. I would have appreciated a few more basic things in the kitchen like salt, oil, vinegar, butter, kitchen roll, etc

Backyard is the highlight - fine for a weekend or a stopover.

I liked that there was a code to get in to the home and didn’t require a key, as it made day to day adventures much easier without having to keep track of keys. Also, the backyard is highly undersold, as it was one of the highlights of the property for someone traveling with a dog - it was huge and lovely and a great spot for zoomies. Great central location to visit areas like Whitby and Raby castle

In the listing on booking.com, it listed a dishwasher as one of the amenities - I searched high and low and the only dishwasher to be found was myself. I loved the washing machine but there was no where to dry clothes - I saw a drying line in a shed in the yard but it was locked and I was unable to access it, so I ended up hanging things off doors all throughout the kitchen and living area. Not ideal. There was no patio furniture, and as I was there during days that it was +20, I wouldn’t loved to sit outside. I also found the latches on the windows and doors extremely sticky and difficult. I hadn’t touched the front window and it blew open one evening while I was relaxing, and took some time for me to get it closed and properly latched. I did let the property management know. I also found the cleaning to be so-so - the faucet in the bathroom had grunge that I had to wipe off, and around the bath looked quite mouldy. An older location for sure, so I know that it won’t be perfect, but it wasn’t the cleanest or most up to date location I’ve been in my 2-3 months of travel thus far.

Perfect location to visit Billingham, close to the city centre. Enjoyed the nice garden and the keyless door.

Cleanliness could have been a bit better. Outdoor furniture would have been nice.
