It has great history which we like to explore. The breakfast was delightful and the staff was wonderful. We enjoyed our welcome chocolates by our bedside.
The outside appearance was a bit of a mess. While we understand they are doing some renovations, especially to the back of the property it still could use some cleaning of the outside areas. Lawn care, dirty exterior walls, etc. our room was clean however there seems to be black mold in the bathroom where baseboards were removed and redone. There was no local tv only casting off your own cell phone. There could have been more comfort with extra pillows which we did not ask for. The inside was mostly clean but needs a little attention with touch up paint.
