The apartment building is dated but inside the apartment was modern, updated and clean and we enjoyed the decor and of course the view was beautiful.

Overall, our stay was great. The two-bedroom apartment was the perfect size for our family of four, and the mattress was super comfortable—definitely on the softer side, which we liked. We loved being right on the beach! You can open all the sliding doors and enjoy the sound of the waves crashing—such a relaxing experience. The designated parking spot in the garage was also a huge plus, especially since parking in California can be a challenge.
The bathroom is a good size for a smaller apartment. The water pressure is strong and hot for an older building, I love a good shower so this was a huge plus.
The address provided made it seem like the apartment was in Hermosa Beach, but it's actually in Redondo Beach. We specifically booked this place so we could walk to our daughter’s beach volleyball tournament in Hermosa and avoid dealing with parking. Instead, it ended up being about a 15-minute walk to the pier, which isn’t ideal when you’re hauling coolers, chairs, and umbrellas so we ended up having to circle around looking for parking each day...
Check- In
Our Check-in was at 4pm, when we got there at 4pm the cleaner was still cleaning. It wasn't the end of the world but it would have been nice to know ahead of time since we carried everything up then had to bring everything back into our car.
Location
The address provided on my booking confirmation was a Hermosa Beach address but it's actually in Redondo Beach. Building. Had I known that in advance, I would have never booked it. I feel completely misled. The location is still nice if you don't care about the exact location.
Building
The building is very rundown, the elevator smelled like urine and the hallways throughout the complex had a strong, unpleasant odor. The apartment itself is clean and smells pleasant. We did not use the pool or any other amenities to comment on.
Laundry
The frustrating surprise was the laundry situation. You’re required to purchase a laundry card for $10 and then load a minimum of $15 just to use the machines. I left the card behind, hoping someone else can at least get some use out of it.
Overall
I tried to give as much detail as possible- when I booked this property there was no reviews. The apartment itself wasn't horrible but I more then likely wouldn't rebook this property again. I would consider myself bougie and typically stay in 5 star resorts so keep that in mind when reading my review :)

Location on the beach and to the Hermosa Pier. Room was clean and nice kitchen area to cook.
The only thing we did not like was the pool was out of order when we arrived. We had booked for a pool and beach stay which is very hard to find in that area.

The apartment itself was decent and spacious.
Parking fee for the “private parking “ is the assigned parking they give you and don’t mention it is an extra cost if you need to parking. I assumed parking was included in the stay. Also, beach access is leaving the building and walking all the way around until you get to the sidewalk that is the strand. Not convenient like other properties in the area. Management of the building was extremely rude and I couldn’t get ahold of anyone the number listed and once I spoke to someone they said well they are the building managers and it’s not their problem if you have problems. Also receiving phone calls from random people asking to pay fees for parking my car in the assigned parking spots that were given at the time of booking.
