How close it was to everywhere we wanted to go

Location is great, ideal if you just need a place to crash

The location is great. About 5 mins walk to Bethnal Green station and cafes, shops, even 24 hour shop in 2 minute walking distance. The host replied very quickly and answered all my questions via email within a few minutes. Bed was made, towels were there, shampoo etc. And also good kitchen stuff. We had all our meals there, So that was great! Also good to have a TV.

The walls ARE really really thin! That was the one big major downfall. On the first evening the neighbours had guests and it was really loud till way past midnight. Definitely recommend earplugs here. Third night the neighbours fought (which is human), but also not really pleasant to have to listen to, especially with kids. The metal door downstairs needs a little trick in opening. I met a neighbour who explained it to me but otherwise I would have struggled each time. The bathroom is quite damp and mouldy. But I guess you don't have to spend hours there.

If you need to stay somewhere a night or two, the room is okay. Is it comfortable, tho? Not really.

The place was decent enough to stay for a few nights. It had all I needed: towels, shampoo, sugar, etc. I appreciated that. Instructions were clear and the host was responsive.

To be honest, the place wasn't that clean. The bathroom and the floors were not cleaned properly. The kitchen, especially the drawers, smelled badly. The room was quite dark, too, with only one small window. Not the host's fault, of course, but for me, the stay didn't feel comfortable. The walls are pretty thin, too, so you can hear everything your neighbors do.
