I enjoyed my stay at Arusa Home Bali. The room was very clean and comfortable, and it felt modern, with a minimal design approach and very subtle Indonesian accents here and there. It felt very tastefully done without trying too hard. There's a skylight above the shower with very diffused lighting which was nice.
It was great value for the money, especially being so close to the main street in Pererenan. You’ll definitely find pretty much everything you need along that main street alone. It’s also nice that Arusa is slightly tucked away from the main road, so it has a perfectly quiet and cozy feel.
I think it’s a perfect place for someone new to Bali who needs a “starter” place. It’s great for that. It didn’t offer any more or any less than I needed, and I think when visiting a new country for the first time, that can actually be really valuable as you get your bearings and decide what’s next on the itinerary.
These things were definitely not deal breakers, and I think the comfort and cleanliness of the place more than made up for them. There was no full-length mirror or little coffee corner, which I would have appreciated. At the same time, that’s also part of what I liked about the place. It was so minimal that it felt like it was giving you just enough.
There was also a subtle mothball smell that permeated the room and my belongings. It wasn’t horrible, but I did notice that the smell followed me into my next hotel room after I left.
Lastly, as someone who really needs natural light, my particular room didn’t get much sunlight. I was in the room with the balcony above the common area, and the lack of natural light made me not really want to work in the space during the day. This is obviously very personal, though, and someone else may not care about that at all, especially considering the value. For sleeping, relaxing, and coming back after a day of exploring, the room was totally comfortable.

Gorgeous wee hide away, lovely block of 6 apartments, very quiet, the pool was lush! Staff very helpful and a nice wee kitchen for shared use was very clean and well equipped. And a very very comfy bed! Thank you for our last minute booking!

We absolutely loved our stay, the facilities, location, rooms and staff are perfect. It’s really tranquil but also super close to everything in Pererenan. Amazing team also! Big thanks to Kadek for looking after us so well.

The location is a few km away from Canggu center, with quiet surroundings ideal for those looking for a good sleep. I drove the motorbike to reach the main locations so the distance didn't bother me at all.
The room was exceptionally good with modern decor, great cleaning, spaciously enough to open the luggage and store your stuff. Wifi great connectivity. The pool is really nice, just not very sunny

No breakfast is provided, but there are plenty of coffee shops within 5-10 minutes walk
