The apartment is light, bright and airy with plenty of space. All the bedrooms are big. The dining area and lounge area are comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom are spacious. Everything is well appointed.

The absolute best thing about this apartment is the location. My entire family of seven (ages 7-65) was able to walk the city to see Harpa, Hallgrimskirkja, the sculpture walk, and enjoy the shopping/restaurants quite easily. The apartment itself is very nice. There are enough items to cook if you want. The living room and dining area provides enough space for individuals to enjoy playing a game or watching a movie at the same time.

The walls and windows DO NOT block out sound at all. We could hear every sound coming from the dining room when we were in a bedroom trying to go to bed. Additionally, every single sound from the ally outside pierced our rooms when we were trying to sleep. My biggest tip....bring something to block out the noise when you are trying to sleep.

Die Lage mitten in der Stadt war perfekt, um die Umgebung fußläufig zu erkunden. Die Wohnung ist mit allen Gebrauchsgegenständen ausgestattet, die man für einen Kurzaufenthalt benötigt und vor allem bot sie viel Platz für eine Familie. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war sehr gut und hilfreich.

Die Beschreibung "Luxury" ist etwas übertrieben und hat falsche Erwartungen geweckt. Insbesondere fehlte bei dem Preis ein wenig die Liebe zum Detail und bei der Sauberkeit an nicht sofort sichtbaren Stellen. Auch war das Treppenhaus abends/nachts sehr hellhörig.
