We had the best time in Iceland! The hosts were amazing, and we loved staying in the house. They have personal cats, and we had one traveler with a cat allergy, so that was a small hiccup. If you do not have that issue, we highly recommend staying here.

- laundry was hard to figure out how to operate and very small size - kitchen was very well stocked to cook for a whole family - there is an apartment that you may need but it is a pretty uncomfortable sofa not really a sofa bed. Not comfortable for adults. - lights are not intuitive to turn on -I had to text the owner to understand. You have to press on the light switches for 10 seconds before they work. - there was a leak in the apartment from the upstairs bath tub apparently (this doesn’t make sense to me but it’s what she said) - this was caused by the hand shower in the tub facing up. It must face down. - only cleanliness issue was a green/ black substance in bath and drains. Not sure. - the water really tastes of sulfur so I would recommend buying bottled water at the grocery store - the grocery store nearby (Haupkof?) was stellar and is a test resource. Like a Target. - overall neighborhood is great and it was perfect for what we needed except the things noted above!

The house worked out very well for our family. Well located for all we wished to do. Maria did a great job setting up beds to accommodate our additional person. We did not cook any meals as we were gone all day but if one so desired everything was available. As long as you have a car I would highly recommend this property!!

We had a family group, all adults, 3 generations. The home was beautiful and very well supplied, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed! The lower level had a. Bedroom with 2 beds together and another , if needed.the attached room/kitchen also had sleeping for 2 (t bed). Upstairs there was a master suite with 2king, beds and 2 other bedrooms, all very ice and comfortable. 3 full bathrooms. We had 12 family members and it worked very well. The patio is wonderful, the dining room seats 12. The living room is also spacious. Maria was wonderful and checked on us to make sure all was going well. She was very helpful and kind. The house is an easy cab ride to the shopping/restaurants . All in all, it was exactly what we were hoping for.
