Location - please note that even if close on the map (3-4 km) to the Fuschlsee lake, the location is almost 300m higher in altitude, making impractical for walking and challenging for cycling. On the other side, the accommodation is right at the beginning of mountain trails, like an "altitude" base camp (~920m). Side note: If traveling by car, you will park in a public area used also by tourists on day-time trips on the mountain trails, from time to time the parking area is full.
What it is - in fact the location is basically a typical Austrian restaurant (closed on Wednesdays), that happens to have around 4 rooms for booking. As such, the rooms are not really serviced during your stay, as stuff is rather dedicated to the restaurant activity. The rooms are on the smaller size, only a bed and a cabinet on ours, no chairs. Bathroom super ok, nothing to mentioned. Because the location is basically a restaurant, we enjoyed the breakfast and dinners, very well done - serving staff were lovely.
Rooms were not serviced during our 3 nights period as guests. Even if requested, the empty shower gel bottle was not refilled, somebody forgot.
The available coffee maker was not making hot water.
Due to a technical problem, we did not have hot water in the bathroom for one evening, has been fixed in the morning.
Bed mattresses were on the soft side.
No mosquito nets for windows / doors, so mosquitos in the room.

Sehr nettes Personal und tolles Frühstück. Wunderschönes Plätzchen zum Wandern und Erholen. Traumhaft!!! Absolut zu empfehlen für Zweisamkeit und Familie.

La posizione è magnifica immerso nel Bosco. La struttura è davvero caratteristica tutta in legno e sembra di stare in un altra epoca. Personale gentilissimo. Il ristorante è Ottimo
Ci hanno dato la stanza ma avranno rifatto solo il letto in quanto il cestino del bagno era pieno, nella doccia c erano dei capelli e il pavimento era sporco. In generale la struttura non è pulita perché sia la testata del letto in stoffa e sia tutto i mobili di legno erano pieni di polvere, stessa cosa nella sala ristorazione cuscini ecc... La cosa più spiacevole è che abbiamo pagato 253,00 euro due notti nel bosco nella pace assoluta e la notte del sabato c è stata la musica da discoteca altissima alla struttura accanto dalla sera fino alle 4 del mattino. Praticamente non abbiamo chiuso occhio e questo di certo non ce lo aspettavamo.
