Breakfast was excellent! Dinner was also superb. I also had coffee and mixed drinks. Everything was very good.

The cover sheet on the bed felt like wax paper. I felt thst if liquid was spilled on it, it would bead up. A small stool more bench to sit on while putting on shoes would have been nice.

The ambiance of the property was really nice. The restaurant was really tasty. Close proximity to the beach.

The property was flooding due to the city laying new pipes. There were puddles of water right in front of the property which was unfortunate and very disappointing. I know this wasn't the Lia Hotel's doing but I probably would not have stayed here if I knew how big those puddles were. The worst day was Sunday when I checked out I have to get my driver to help me carry my bags across cinder blocks so they didn't fall into the puddle and get wet. Other than that a fantastic hotel stay.

The location in Jaco Beach is as good as it gets in Jaco proper.

The room stunk and it was an upgraded room. No chair to sit on, no TV, minimal space to walk around (better for a single person than a couple), haven’t been in such a shabby room in a long time.
