Lovely accommodation with amazing views.

Great views

Great views

The front door key is extremely temperamental, it took us ages to lock/ unlock the door each time. I would worry if there was a fire and we had to get out as you need to use the key to unlock the front door. WiFi also did not work. Location is out of the way and a lot of hills and walking on a busy road with no pavement.

The Host Doesn't Give a *uck - No Internet, Broken Shower Head

The view is decent, from a the hill, if you can somehow ignore the fact that there's no Internet. Despite some flaws, I'm giving it a 4 because of the view and because the AC worked.

We spent a week without Wifi and with a broken shower head. It's not easy getting there with 2 heavy suitcases, skip your leg-day and do this instead. It's a 113 stair climb + some climb without stairs and wobbly stones. The way leading to the lake is risky - It's a narrow lane with 2 way traffic, but it does have some spots after every few meters to dodge the traffic - very risky with children. I wrote to the host asking for Wifi details - to which they sent a photo of a device that did not exist in the property ( a 4g dongle), on asking again and communicating about the broken shower head, the person just stopped replying. The TV is small and old - with only Italian channels and no smart features. There is no dishwasher but there is a nice gas burner hob, microwave, fridge etc. I wrote a final message on day 3 of 7, saying that if this is not fixed, I will write a bad review. So this should not come as a surprise to them. They just can't be bothered.

Misleading listing and multiple serious issues No Wi-Fi. Access to the property is very risky, especially with luggage. The listing says it is 800 meters from the city center, but part of the way requires walking on the street without a sidewalk, with fast-moving cars. The area is surrounded by wild boars and rats, which were eating near the exit door. Water supply was interrupted during our stay. No proper response from the owner. Cleaning was unacceptable. The only positive was the view, but it does not compensate for all of the above. I am requesting a refund.
