Good facilities and equipment, bluetooth music speakers in rooms, near to lake side.
Couldn't swim in lake as a protected marina.
Dog mess on the shore.
Swimming pool not free.

The lodge is in a great location on the park. From the terrace you overlook the lake which is lovely to see. Location is between Ambleside and Windermere which is good to get around. Clean and tidy inside. Small and cosy size for 4 of us. (2 adults and 2 young children). We found the beds really comfy!!
A few things we found whilst staying at the lodge. The lodge could do with a clean on the outside. The toilet seat is loose / broken. The toaster doesn't work properly and needs replacing.
The use of the swimming pool isn't included in the booking which is a shame. They wanted £15 per person for the duration of the stay.
