Que dire, hormis que tout était parfait ? Beaucoup de choses ! Tout d'abord, l'hôtel est absolument magnifique. La décoration est raffinée et pensée dans les moindres détails : les associations de couleurs, les matières, la vaisselle… Chaque élément semble avoir été choisi avec soin. Nous avons adoré les petites attentions, comme le tapis de l'ascenseur indiquant le jour de la semaine, la lumière discrète qui s'allume lorsque l'on se lève la nuit ou encore le nécessaire à cocktails mis à disposition dans la chambre. Le petit-déjeuner était tout simplement exceptionnel, avec une carte proposant des plats d'exception, comme l'œuf bénédicte au homard accompagné de caviar. Le restaurant chinois de l'hôtel mérite également une mention spéciale : nous y avons dégusté les meilleurs repas de tout notre séjour en Chine, et de très loin. Enfin, le personnel a été d'une gentillesse et d'une attention remarquables tout au long de notre séjour. Nous avons été touchés par les nombreuses attentions qui nous ont été réservées. Un immense merci à toute l'équipe d'avoir rendu ce séjour si mémorable.

We absolutely loved everything about this hotel. We have stayed at a few Shangrila properties but this is exceptional. The staff, attention to detail, the aesthetic. Really enjoyable and not long enough. Everyone must visit. We did not want to leave.

The Shangri-La is just a short walk from the West Lake, very convenient for sightseeing. However, we were staying in the Silk Lakehouse wing (highly recommended) which is a bit up the hill. In any case, they will provide the buggy for you to go to the Lake. No problem. The room is just pure luxurious. Very tastefully decorated. The king size bed and pillows are super comfortable, providing a good night sleep. The bathroom is fitted with a jacuzzi! Can't believe it! All fittings inside the bathroom is gold-color plated. We had breakfast at the hotel throughout our stay. Breakfast at the Silk Lakehouse is something to look forward to. The breakfast is ordered from the menu and it caters to our diet need. Very sumptuous breakfast with quality ingredients. The service provided is just fantastic. Check-in and check-out is super fast. The room is very well kept and very clean. Amenities are well equipped. They even provide us with soup/dessert in the room every afternoon. I really enjoyed and appreciated this.
