High Road Haven was very easy to find and conveniently located, just a few minutes from the shops surrounded by nature. Communication with our host Jenny was excellent from start to finish. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the home. Cosy, comfortable and convenient.

Loved how cosy and comfortable the cottage was, and so peaceful, with kangaroos, kookaburras and cockatoos visiting. Bathrooms lovely, beds comfy. Living area well set up. Cottage was warm. A few minutes drive to town, or about 25 mins walk along a cycle path.
Kitchen was older and awkward to use/ find things, but was fine overall. There was a bit of firewood but we had to scrounge for things to light the fire with as no paper, kindling (though plenty of that was to be found outside but we would have been in trouble if it was any wetter) or firelighters.

Location is good, the wildlife interesting, and the surrounding is quiet.
Kitchen is in need of a major refresher. As a home cook, it wasn’t enjoyable to cook in a 70s kitchen.
