Much bigger than the photos suggest

The property is stunning, the rooms are all a great size, the beds are incredibly comfortable, the provision of entertaining space is great - the open plan nature of the kitchen, dining areas and living space work really well for big groups. The washing machine/utility room was super helpful, we loved using the outside BBQ.
It isn’t a very practical property for very young children (we had a 3 year old and a 1 year old) because the only thing separating the living area from the bedrooms - one of which is down a steep flight of stone stairs - is a sliding door which if left slightly ajar can be opened. The stairs down to the swimming pool are also tricky to navigate if you are carrying a toddler/small child.
Equally, there is a very steep climb from the gate into the property to the house which is hard work pushing a pram/carrying a child, and will be difficult for people with mobility issues. This may be less of an issue if you are planning on hiring a car and using it on every trip out.
I think it was unfortunate that there was an additional cost (30 Euros a day) to heat the swimming pool in order to make it usable for our stay (in late May) - we had to pay for the 3 days preceding our visit to get up to temp, and I paid for 6 days of our stay (we left early on the last morning) and did notice the water temperature getting cooler despite the temperatures increasing. Without heating it would have been too cold for the children to get into.
There were a couple of small niggles - one of the blackout blinds was broken in a bedroom and had been taken down and put in a wardrobe. A local cat would prowl around the garden in the early hours of the morning setting off the very bright security lights which would illuminate the bedroom because of the missing blind. This was raised with the local agent but it was not rectified during our stay. There was an issue with water escaping from one of the showers which was then spread across the floor when the shower door was opened.

Lovely villa, fabulous views of the sea from high on the hill. Villa located at the end of a very quiet road and is a short stroll to the nearest shops and beach. Villa has private driveway that is secured by an electric gate. We were a party of 5 and we had plenty of room to rattle around in.
Very nice airy rooms with air con and en-suite facilities, big kitchen area, american fridge freezer, dishwasher etc.
Very comfortable lounge with plenty of seating, big screen tv with netflix!
Gas BBQ. used this quite a bit.
Main gripe was the pool area, the pool itself was very nice but the parasols were poor and would be blown over in the wind which made them impossible to use, suggest replacing these with something more robust.
For the number of people the property can accommodate there were not enough mugs, tall glasses, tea towels.
Some cleaning equipment for the BBQ would be useful.

It was a really lovely place in a really lovely location. Excellent value for money and a genuinely lovely place to stay. Responsive hosts. The toaster wasn't working but this was replaced really quickly.
Had some issues with the gate during our stay with the gate stuck after the gardeners came but was sorted pretty quickly. More than one set of keys or an exit switch would be useful as there's no way of opening the gate without keys. No information provided about bins but answered when asked. Having to take the bins to the end of the road was a bit difficult, not an easy walk carrying bins.
Additional charges for pool heating weren't mentioned on the initial listing but were reasonable prices of 30 Euros/Day.
