INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.
For guests who do not already have a credit card on file with us, we will process a nominal, non-refundable $1.00 charge (plus a 3.5% processing fee) to securely hold a card on file for incidentals. This simply allows us to quickly issue replacements for any lost or damaged bands so you can get right back to enjoying your vacation!
E-Checks are accepted for advance reservations at no additional charge (15 days prior to check in). All credit card payments will incur a 3.5% convenience fee.

Great location. Great view. Very clean. The grounds, the pool, the beach, all were very well maintained. Most of the staff was very friendly, others could have been a little nicer. We were told we needed wristbands to enter the facility. We paid for these wristbands....but upon check in we were told they aren't using them anymore so didn't give us any.She told us that if anyone asked we should show our confirmation email. Several times we were asked at the pool for our bands. We explained the above and were asked of this was a Panhandle rental, which it was, and they said they ARE still using the bands but phasing them out and were told that we needed them. We were embarrassed as people are thinking we didn't belong there. We asked where to buy and were told the front desk, where the girl was that told us we couldn't get them. So, that was very frustrating and disorganized. The bands were only 6 so I'm not going to bother asking for that money back, but as nice as the place is, there are MANY other resorts in the area with the same view.
