An absolutely wonderful house. Big rooms, lovely layout. Fantastically well equipped kitchen with top quality appliances. Very comfortable beds and mattresses. Plenty of bathrooms. A good place for a large group (in our case extended family) to get together. Location is beautiful. Right next to an excellent pub, with wonderful views across the value. It is on a road junction but we weren't affected by that (it being winter and not too busy). Very close to several nice beaches and to the village of St Buryan. Easy reach of Penzance for big shops or other amenities. Hosts are very gracious and communication is very good. Great area for dogs. There is a footpath a short walk away which leads alongside open fields.
Only one slight quibble which is that the garden is not secure. The garden at the side leads around to the front, where it connects with the road. It would be well worth having a gate somewhere to prevent dogs getting loose and into the road.

The property was beautiful, spacious and had character. The decor downstairs was colourful, tasteful and modern with a sense of period suited to the house. Upstairs decor was restful and each room had a reasonably sized bath or shower room. The house is definitely suitable for larger families or friend groups. There were 8 in our family group and we never felt over-crowded. The house was very clean. There were beautiful flowers and a welcome tray set for cream tea on arrival (with a nice bottle in the fridge.) Plenty of room to move around a very well equipped kitchen. Hosts, Jane and Tom, introduced themselves on our arrival and were always responsive to any messages.
Absolutely nothing.
Might be worth mentioning access from A30 was 4.5 miles via B3283 a winding/narrow in places, road. On one occasion we witnessed a ‘stand off’ with about 30 cars going nowhere. One of our group left the car and ran up the road to assist/support others to manoeuvre so everyone could move along. Most were obliging. Careful driving, a little patience and thoughtfulness Goes along way… just helping each other. Stand offs achieve nothing.

Treen House in Cornwall was an ideal base for our family holiday. We stayed in the spacious 4 bed/4 bathroom house for a week, arriving to find everything clean and tidy. The location is unbeatable—just a short drive to an amazing beach and perfectly situated for exploring Land's End/Logan Rock. The owners were exceptionally welcoming, and, although we experienced a couple of minor issues with the electricity tripping, these were resolved quickly and efficiently. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend Treen House to anyone looking for a relaxing Cornish getaway.
