Relaxed stay in a quiet neighborhood

I loved the patio! It has an ample and private area where you can park your car and also relax. This patio is worthy the stay! Inside, the apartment was also very comfy. All appliances worked well. I had a nice time 😊

Disappointing stay – poor cleanliness, misleading parking information and inconvenient location

We booked this apartment because of its high rating on Booking.com, but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing and did not match the rating at all. The biggest issue was cleanliness. The apartment was not properly cleaned before our arrival. There was visible dust, dirt, hair and marks in several areas, especially around and under the bed/storage area. The courtyard was also dirty and dusty. In addition, there were previous bed sheets or laundry left on top of the washing machine, which gave a very poor first impression when entering the apartment. The bathroom was also unpleasant. The window could not be opened, and because of the humidity and lack of proper ventilation, there was a very bad smell inside. The location was not as convenient as expected. For most places in Rome, we had to change public transport lines. Only the Colosseum was directly reachable by metro. When the metro was not available, travelling by bus took a long time and was very inconvenient, especially for older people. Another major problem was the parking. The entrance to the parking area is only suitable for very small cars with a length of less than around 2 metres. This was not clearly mentioned in the listing. As a result, the parking space was practically unusable for us and caused a lot of inconvenience. The apartment was also not well prepared for international guests. The electrical sockets were not suitable for many non-Italian plugs without an adapter. We only found adapters on the last day hidden in a messy drawer, without any clear information or guidance at check-in. Overall, the apartment felt poorly maintained, not properly cleaned, and not accurately described. Based on our experience, the high rating is very hard to understand. We would not book this property again and would not recommend it, especially to families, elderly guests, or anyone travelling by car.
