The breakfast was adequate for the experience. The location was halfway between my travel points, so that worked for me. There were limited dinner options nearby, but what I found was also adequate. The room was HUGE with a whirlpool (I did not use) and the bed was lovely.
There were more stairs than I was comfortable with my bum knee and parking was tight. The decor is dated (1970s?).

The staff was lovely, the room was exceptionally comfortable, and the breakfast was delightful, just enough to help me keep going on a long road trip. Definitely beats staying at a chain hotel and with very affordable prices.
The parking situation is a bit precarious, but that's honestly okay. Dresden itself is not exactly the most touristy area, but the local restaurants are solid and there is a historical niche for people interested in that.

The booking tool I used said “Excellent Breakfast Included”. That was absolutely true, we really enjoyed the breakfast.

We.stayed in the Dresdin Suite and there was ample hotwater for the whirlpool tub. The bed was comfortable.
The inn keep Joy was not pleasant and did not show us around or explain anything. We had to arrive between 3-6 no exception. The house was hot and only air-conditioning was used in the individual rooms. When we arrived we did not know where to park. The parking at the top overlooked a large drop. It was a beautiful view though. I am u sure about the road to the inn and parking in inclemented weather. Our initial room was dirty and she sprayed excessive amounts of what she said was Downy spray all over the bedding and room. Instantly I broke out in hives and she said we should have told her sooner I had allergies. She was kind enough to upgrade us to the suite. The room was hot, but the AC worked quickly and efficiently. She then asked what time we wanted breakfast and I asked what time was breakfast and she said 8-9. Then she said we should come at 8:30. There was no offer of cheese and wine as stated with booking or in the information booklet. The room was dirty with mouse droppings on the ice and glass tray. The TV only had cable on demand. The halls were not lit and it was difficult to navigate the house. We felt like we were intruding in her home. At one point we decided to go outside to see the sunset. We walked through the dark halls and she came out and said she had locked the doors. She questioned us what we were doing and about sitting outside to see the sunset. My husband and I have been married for almost three decades so it could not have been because of our age she was questioning us. The next morning breakfast was good nothing to write home about. We only were offered coffee to drink. When we checked out she at 9:30 she was cooking in a dark kitchen and I said we are leaving and checking out. She did not turn around and shouted okay.
