Very pretty village location. Easy parking outside. A short walk to the local shop/cafe and a nice easy 15min walk to the pub. Thoroughly recommended for great food, service and lovely friendly atmosphere. Nice neutral decor throughout the cottage. Great beds, very comfy and nice clean bedding. Thank you, we had a great stay.

The cottage was clean, comfortable and the owners had put care into small details such as the welcome tray. It was a great location for visiting the Great Yorkshire Show, Harrogate, York and the surrounding villages. The local pub serves great food and the village shop is very close. There was plenty parking and we also made use of the local bus.

It’s in a nice village with a lovely river and walks
It’s a little bit tired inside and some things like the shower are not great ( I’m 6’1 and had to squat down to get under it.)
