Flamingo Palms was perfect for our family of eight, which included two children under three. Ray and Ana were so kind and easy to work with. The home is nice, open, clean, and well-equipped in a quiet neighborhood not far from the beach or the grocery store. The small extras provided made the stay even better. The owners definitely thought about what you might need while staying there. There were hampers with plenty of hangers in each room, hand soap in the bathrooms, laundry pods, dishwasher tablets, extra trash bags, and spices. There were beach chairs, beach towels, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards for use. My daughter and daughter-in-law took the SUPs out our first evening there. They met a few of the neighbors who were out on their docks or boats. The locals were nice and gave them recommendations for places to eat, etc. There is a nice shaded sitting area right by the water, as well as a nice screened-in back porch. I was worried about being so close to the water with the little ones, but there were chain locks on the screen doors so they couldn't get out even if they got the doors open. This was our first time to Marathon and the Keys, and we would definitely stay here again.
