The room is spacious, comfortable, located just a short distance from Queen's Park and city center. The surrounding are tranquil and relaxing. Host was very helpful.

It was located within easy reach of pubs and supermarkets.

It is not what I would call a "flat" nor an "apartment" it is a room, a large room but a room. There is large floor lamp in the room for no real purpose over a large desk and one hard desk chair, all of which sat in front of the window. To close the windows the large lamp had to be moved out of the way, and the chair was kind of in the way of getting to that side of the bed. There is also a chunky unit for hanging clothes it's not quite a wardrobe, taking up a huge space. As another reviewer noted there is nowhere to sit apart from that one desk chair even though there is plenty of space. With some tweaks of more suitable furniture and a reshuffle this room could be what it claims as there was room for a sofa or two armchairs, a small dining table and chairs and even a coffee table. Unfortunately the fridge didn't have a freezer section which was a shame as we had ice packs, but wasn't the be all and end all but would have been useful. I wouldn't want to stay longer than a night or two nor if you have children older than a baby. You have a kitchenette with a toaster, microwave and kettle (obviously with nowhere to sit!). There is a shared galley type kitchen which I did not know about when making the booking and in the message you receive prior to arrival it says you have to bring you own utensils, which is an extra faff. When we arrived there was the previous people's rubbish in the bin, but couldn't find any bin liners to do it ourselves, and we stayed on the hottest weekend of the year. We stayed Friday-Sunday and my husband was woken by cleaners at approx 7:30/8am to clean and hoover the hallway, I sleep with ear plugs so didn't hear them. This is unacceptable as sometimes people staying away from home might actually like to lay in at the weekend!! Also check out time isn't until 11:00am, so no cleaning of any kind should have been occurring.
