Myself and a friend were going to a wedding in the nearby Four Seasons hotel and also to a second day event at Taaffes Bar in Carlingford. The location of the pod was fabulous so close to everything right in the heart of the town. Although we did not use the pod too much just really for sleeping and showering the pod is well equipped and has everything you need and is really cosy.
The price for the TWO night stay was very reasonable and in fact cheaper than the price of a one night stay in the many places I looked at. Also as well as other accommodation being far more expensive it did not have the fabulous location of the Shilties pod. Would definitely rent again.

Such a little hidden gem in a fabulous location
It took me a while to figure out how to get hot water on in the shower but that was me more than the property I m more used to electric so instant hot water on a string

Very clean. Everything you need in a room
The bed is quite noisy any wee movement and you would wake
