What Christos has built at Aptera is truly extraordinary. The place has a very special vibe and energy, and I absolutely loved the care, attention and wonderful treatment that Christos and his staff offer to their guests. You immediately get that feeling of being genuinely welcomed and taken care of, by everyone there.
The hotel offers good value for money, but what makes it really special goes far beyond that. I haven’t found another terrace in the area with the same incredible vibe and energy - there is something about the atmosphere that makes you want to spend your time there - in one week, I had eaten there every day, most days twice a day.
You can really feel how carefully everything has been selected: from the food and the fresh, high-quality ingredients, to the way the terrace is set, the house wine, the amazing dessert on the house and, maybe most importantly, the people he works with.
Elena and the sweet young man, whose name unfortunately I didn’t get, treated us with so much care and warmth. All of these details together create an incredible atmosphere and experience that goes far beyond simply staying at a hotel.
The room was clean and had all the essentials, with an incredible sea view and a terrace that gave me some amazing sunrises. They also offer free sunbeds for the hotel guests.
A huge thank you to Christos and his wonderful team for everything. I sincerely hope he gets to have a long and happy life and continues bringing this kind of happiness to as many people as possible. ❤️
As a suggestion, it would have been great to have a small coffee machine in the room, for the very early birds that wake up at 5 am :)
Also, maybe some mattresses for the sunbeds.
But the experience was still wonderful, these are just some suggestions.

The one thing that can make vacations enjoyable is costumer service and they were spot on.
The hotel is at a great location, right next to the beach and everything is very well organised.
The noise at night from the restaurant next door but then again it's Greece and people stay up late. If you expect things to be quiet at 11pm, choose a different country.

המלון למעשה שוכן על שפת הים מרחק 20 מטר מהמים,במלון מסעדה טובה כמו גם במלונות הצמודים.
לנו היתה חופשה חלומית

Very lovely hotel. All the staff were kind and accommodating. The seafront room has a big balcony with beautiful view . Good location, everything you need is around, can easily get to the city with a bus. Thank you, hope to come back soon!
It would be great to have an iron and kettle in the room.
