Location, friendly staff and the meal in the restaurant was superb.
The hotel was hosting a local event so it was noisy and kids shouting. The hotel needs to invest in proper air conditioning in the bedrooms.

Ideal location for a stop off on our trip
Bathroom seemed very tired didn’t live up to the quality of the rest of the hotel and the toilet kept leaking (it was all very clean)

The hotel is in a great location. We were breaking up our journey on the way to the Alps and wanted somewhere along the Burgundy wine route (we love Gevrey-Chambertin wines!). Breakfast was adequate and the selection and quality of items was good, however it was overpriced for what it was in my opinion. The staff were friendly and helpful and the main guest areas such as foyer and upstairs breakfast room were bright, modern and airy.
The bedrooms and bathrooms are very tired. Our room had an unpleasant stale smell, and the toilet rocked around when sitting on it! The quality of the furnishings (carpet, bathroom, furniture etc) was really quite poor. There was also no bar or restaurant open at the time which meant we had to find somewhere to eat. However this proved to be a positive as we dined in an incredible restaurant in Fixin! The hotel has so much potential, the staff are super friendly and helpful, there just needs to be some investment to renovate the bedrooms.
