Hotel Royer Urbana Champaign, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

Beds, pillows, and towels were of excellent quality. So was the coffee. The pool was a great amenity and the area clean and well-kept with beach towels provided. The location was excellent, within walking distance of the campus and also shops, food, and drinks. The hotel is a historic building so very charming with a cozy bar and also a restaurant on the premises.

There was microwaveable food for sale but only one microwave available for the entire hotel. You had to take the food up to your room, put in the water, come back down, and if it was in use you had to go back to yiur room and come back down to check again. And the microwave still might not be free. More microwaves needed and water provided at the site of purchase.

Struttura molto particolare e molto bella. Scelta per l’ottimo rapporto qualità (sulla base del rating di Booking.com) - prezzo. Appena arrivata mi hanno dato una camera molto piccola, senza scrivania (inaccettabile visto che si é trattato di un viaggio di lavoro), però quando ho fatto presente la cosa alla reception si sono scusati dicendo che avevano sbagliato nell’assegnarmi la camera. La seconda camera aveva una scrivania comoda e ampie finestre. Letto comodo. Molto apprezzato la macchina da caffè nespresso in camera con capsule Lavazza. L’hotel è a 25 minuti a piedi dal campus dell’University dell’Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Se quest’ultima è la destinazione di vostro interesse e vi piace camminare, la passeggiata è molto piacevole.

La struttura offre caffè gratuito. Purtroppo una volta esaurito non viene rifornito. Pertanto non sono mai riuscita a usufruirne.

Beautiful hotel. Love the old style. Fantastic places to sit and relax. Location is great. Room was modern and clean.

I think my room was right above the kitchen. Overwhelming food smell in the hallway. Luckily the room didn’t smell that way. I’m sure it’s hard to control that in an old hotel, but it might deter me from staying again. Otherwise I loved it!

Location was excellent and the building was amazing. The staff were kind and accommodating. Truly excellent service in a beautiful neighborhood. The rooms were cute and quaint, plus there’s a restaurant and bar built into the hotel lobby.

The beds sucked. Big time. It was like a 5 star hotel with a 1 star mattress on the bed. It was so hard and uncomfortable that neither my partner or I got any sleep both nights we slept there. We were literally tossing and turning all night, and woke up sore.
