I loved everything about this place (although the need to go though 3 doors, w/3 keys was a minor blip). The owner, Stefano, met me at the front door and walked me though the apt, provided me with excellent info about the neighborhood and getting around Florence, and made himself available by text when I had additional questions. He is incredibly responsive!
The apartment is located in a nice neighborhood away from the city center, so you get a great feel for everyday life in Florence without the tourists :) There is a supermarket 3 blocks away, which was great for buying breakfast foods and snacks that I wanted. There is also a beautiful park just 2 blocks away, which I recommend visiting. I love walking, so didn't mind hoofing a couple miles every morning and at the end of the day to get where I wanted to go. There are trams within a 5 minute walk of the apt that will get you closer, although they do not stop directly in the center of town.
The apt is spacious, with a full kitchen and living room/seating area. The bedroom is a little tight, but the bed was comfortable and I have no complaints. Bathroom had everything I needed. The apt also includes a small clothes washer and dryer, which was perfect for me to clean what I needed to (it is not meant for a large load and/or a load of family laundry).
Aside from the required 3 key entrance (a minor issue), I have no complaints.
