Great stay! Comfy beds. Large room with plenty of the comforts of home. The cafe and restaurant were both nice and convenient. Clean.

The suite itself is a very generous size and like home away from home as the facilities and amenities are very good. There is a large fridge freezer, small dining area, a 3 seater couch, smart TV and the kitchenette is brilliant (even has a Nespresso coffee maker with pods included). There are plenty of charger points (USB & type C) which worked well for the family. The bathroom is fantastic and spacious.
There is an on site coffee shop adjacent to the lobby which is excellent, friendly and inviting (hotel staff should take note). The two different servers on different days were outstanding and their customer service was exactly what you'd expect!). The c

Unfortunately a couple of things really put a dampener on the overall experience for us. The female check in staff on our first night struggled to understand us, despite speaking quite clearly. A request for milk for tea and coffee resulted in being provided coffee creamer, it doesn't work with tea, we tried!
I tried to resolve this the following day with a request of milk, not coffee creamer and was advised this is all they had available but would send up some milk, this never transpired, we walked into town and bought a carton of milk from a convenience store.
The loading zone outside and on street parking weren't clearly explained to us upon arrival and the parking lot over the road was closed due to a PRIDE event over the Labour Day weekend. We eventually gave up trying to find a space after circling the block about 5 times after a long day and reluctantly paid the $40 valet parking for our final 2 nights. The valet was quite abrupt, not particularly friendly and his attitude was that of he was doing us a favour.
I won't use this hotel again despite the room itself being excellent. I have travelled a lot internationally and never encountered anything like it, I expect good service and am always polite, friendly and respectful and expect it to be reciprocated e.g. a good morning when leaving the lobby to head out for the day, or upon return?
Breakfast is a free for all - no-one greets you to seat you or advise you of breakfast options, it was chaos. There is also no bacon (only turkey bacon), beans or pork sausages available.
