Cafe was super and comfortable to relax and work.
The lobby had a smelled bad.
Bed sheets were not changed for 3 days. It become little clumsy for long stay.

Staff was extremely kind and friendly - we had a payment problem with our pickme driver and they helped right away to sort it out. Food is so yummy and great price, all rooms with good air-conditioning and comfy clean beds and towels. The hostel is very comfy with lots of nice sitting places to hang around and lots of games to play too! They let us keep our bags in the hostel during the day and the staff helped us figure out good places to go visit - we only stayed one night but would return again for such a welcoming and peaceful atmosphere!
I travelled with 2 other people and only one of our lockers had a key in it - but we didn't ask reception as we managed to fit all our bags inside 1 locker.

The staff were super friendly and had a fun time chatting with them. The room was quite clean, they have a cute dog named alma too, and overall it’s been a wonderful stay.
There might be mosquitoes outside but that’s cos you’re surrounded by the flowers and plants grown outside. It’s the price to pay for the beautiful view. The room has only yellow lighting so it may seem a tad dark at night.

Alma is the ideal base for exploring Colombo when you want somewhere comfortable, but also social and fun. The friendly staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome, while the rooms are the perfect place for relaxing after a long day of exploring. I stayed in the private room with balcony and was blown away by its chic design and seriously comfortable bed. The location was central meaning grabbing a tuktuk was easy.
