We had a lovely 3 day break. The accommodation was stunning and well equipped. What a view! Even on the rainy days that we had. Calstock is a beautiful Cornish village with 2 lovely dog friendly pubs. We took the train to Plymouth which is just a 30 minute journey from Calstock. On another day we did a walk to Cotehele National Trust. The property comes with a parking space right outside. Lovely and clean and warm and the welcome pack of milk, crisps, chocolate, wine and beer was an added bonus.

This property is in a beautiful location, directly overlooking the river, with stunning views of watching the boats and birds go by. Spotlessly clean and has everything you require. The beds are fabulously comfortable, especially the Super King size bed โ I had the best night sleep in years โ such a relaxing setting. The hosts were very attentive, with nothing too much trouble and offered a full itinerary of places to go, restaurant recommendations etc. The scenic train journey across the viaduct and through the countryside to Plymouth was spectacular and is a definite must do. We loved every second and cannot recommend highly enough, plus easy parking right outside the house. We have already booked for next year. Thank you Janet & Nigel for our fabulous stay.
