Fantastic location and very large and comfortable apartment!
Historical building, paintings on the ceilings, nice forniture.
The atmosphere and the views on the canal and on Campo San Provolo are great!
There is no air conditioning, which was fine for us because the temperature was not so high.
It could be a problem in very hot summer days.
It would have been a plus to have a few essentials, eg for breakfast (coffee, tea, sugar), or for the shower.

Posizione centrale-Appartamento splendido in vero stile veneziano. Ha il suo charme. Proprietario accogliente. Ci ha mostrato l'appartamento. Centralissimo. Lenzuola profumate. Pulito. Cucina accessoriata anche di moka. Ci sono dei supermercati vicino e in 15 minuti a piedi si arriva anche al mercato del pesce. Un plus l'ascensore!! Cosa rara a Venezia per portare su i bagagli.Venezia è una citta molto turistica e la zona è frequentatissima. Per cui naturalmente c'è un po di chiasso. Fa parte del tutto. Noi abbiamo dormito veramente bene in un letto molto comodo.

The apartment is huge with beautiful vintage furniture, only a few minutes away from Piazza San Marco, great value.

The geography is perfect, very close to San Marco square, to vaporetto station, to everything. The apartment looks very picturesque, will old furniture, statues, and it is very large as for two persons. But you won't manage to live there with children, as they have only one bed. It is real pleasure for eyes. Also, should mention that hostess was very helpful and responsive, assisted with taxis and everything.
The owners of apartment seem to be very greedy. No iron, no washing machine, no coffee machine (!!!), very small fan that was standing on chair and seemed to live its final days. No shampoo. No wi-fi TV, so no Netflix or anything. And no climate control, and one can say that this is normal for Venice, but many hosts buy conditioners that work with tube into window - we had the one in Bologna, and it was good option for summer days. In Venice we couldnt sleep two nights because of hot temperature and mosquitos. So this apartments looks very nice, but it is extremely uncompfortable. Just imagine Italian apartment without coffee-machine, no iron for dress for evening restaurant, and very hot in summer.
