The family’s warmth and care – they even helped me recover when I arrived with food poisoning.
Very tasty and abundant breakfast and dinner, with flexible pricing for dinner.
Peaceful location; the passing train added to the atmosphere.
Safe feeling as a solo female traveler, since my room was in the backyard of the family home.
Great recommendations and help with transport for activities – I was even taken to their home village and the temple, which was an unforgettable experience.
Tuk tuk rides were often offered, and I was kindly accompanied when coming home after sunset.
Stable WiFi on-site, plus a coworking space with AC just around the corner.
Laundry service was possible, and cafés/shops are only a 10-minute walk away.
Nothing significant for me personally - a had a wonderful time
For others: no installed mosquito net (I brought my own and hung it up easily), and the room no AC but fan + open windows worked for me just fine (though AC is planned soon).

We spent two weeks here and had a very good stay. The owners are kind, helpful, and friendly. The included breakfast is delicious and sufficient. Because we were staying in one place for so long, we asked if we could have dinner there for an additional fee. We had a good, local dinner every day. The property looks exactly as in the photos. It's a bedroom with bathroom in a separate building next to the owners' house. The surrounding plants ensures privacy. The Secret beach is only a 5-minute walk away. The city center and train station are also close.
