Location was great. Studio okay, very basic but considering the price there can be no complaint. Everything I needed was there (except a tea towel and a floor mat). Kitchenette had microwave, kettle, cooker, toaster, plates, cups, cutlery ... everything needed for my stay.
There are no towels in the shower room but at this price point I didn't expect any (I'm just letting you know to take your own towel).
Steep stairs, probably not suitable for very young or very old people. I'm an OAP and they were fine for me, but to way my elderly mother could get down those stairs into the basement flat without a tumble.
I would have liked a tea towel in the kitchenette and a floor mat to dry my shoes at the entrance door. A floor mat to step out of the shower onto would have been nice.

The location was good for me. Close to Mutley Plain and Torpoint Ferry. The studio is a Basement Flat, it is very basic but had everything I needed except a tea towel and a doormat to wipe my feet when I came in from the rain. The Studio Flat was clean and the bed was comfortable, for the price I paid I was happy, but I would emphasise this is budget accommodation so keep your expectations realistic.
I would have liked a tea towel in the kitchen and a door mat to dry my shoes on when I came in from the rain, it felt bad bringing wet shoes into the flat.

It was cheap, the heater worked, and it was quiet at night. The facilties are there, but they are basic and simple.
This is a cheap place to stay in Plymouth and the quality of the bedsit reflects that. Some TLC, decorating, and updating would improve it a lot. The steps leading down to the place are hazardous.
