The apartment is spacious and comfortable. The living and dining area is large and comfortable for 4 adults. The kitchen is new with Fridge/Freezer, 4 burner cooktop, double sink and dishwasher and we had no problems preparing full meals. With large opening windows we were comfortable without AirCon even in a week with temperatures exceeding 35C.
It is 100m from a large supermarket with full bakery which is open from 8am to 8pm 7 days. Full ingredients or prepared meals available, and a good selection of beer and wine meant we had full flexibility. There are a few local restaurants within a few hundred meters: we can recommend Krokodillenhof, Sushi Sawara and Jin Bian Chinese.
the #64 bus goes from the closest corner directly into Antwerp Central, or ride 5 minutes to transfer to the #1 and #2 trams.
The people managing the apartment live in the same building which made it easy to collect the keys.
The apartment is on the first floor (one above ground) and the staircase is narrow so be aware if you have limited mobility or very large luggage!
We were only given one set of keys which made coordinating separate excursions more difficult. Perhaps a key box could be installed to make this easier.

es gab wie gewünscht 2 schlafzimmer, die räume waren gross, die betten bequem, alles, was wir brauchten, war da.
die wohnung ist in die jahre gekommen. es gehört ausgemalt, die türen gehören renoviert. keine bilder an den wänden. kein internet. fernsehen nicht möglich. aber das haben wir auch nicht im vorfeld überprüft.
