The family liked the location, the amenities, and the comfort. The hot tub was great and the pool table kept us entertained. The wildlife around the pond was really beautiful and the setting was very peaceful.
We did not like arriving without the ability to access the property or meeting the owners at the property as expected through booking.com. Once we were able to finally connect with someone about the property, we were told by the owners that they were out of town and they had no idea we were coming (our trip was booked since April) The refrigerator was full of the owners food so we had no room for the groceries we brought, so we had to move all of their food around which was awkward. We did not like the owner visiting the property in the middle of our stay to collect cookie dough and pumpkin petals from the refrigerator, and we didn’t like having to make our own bed in the master bedroom because the owners told us the sheets hadn’t been changed since they last stayed there. Expensive for the amount of inconvenience around a 2 day stay that was booked and confirmed months in advance
