Location is good and service was outstanding. We had a problem with our room (lights were not working properly and washbasin was not letting water out) so hotel staff helped us to change to a new, more spacious room. Especially Ekaterina was best.
The food price at the restaurants is clearly overpriced. They charge $80 for a dish - this is outrageous amount and no hotel should try to do that.

Beautiful setting, great atmosphere, wonderful view, gorgeous interiors and gardens, immaculately clean and the space has been used incredibly well, attentive staff, beautiful food ("reassuringly expensive"), great recommendations on restaurants from concierge, beds v comfortable (see below for exception), unique wonderful toiletries inspired by Istanbul's spices. Great location, up and coming area with a great vibe and an aspirational development (with the added benefit of having more locals than tourists), a very special place.
Very slow check in - prefer a quicker check in please. Same with check out. Taxi to airport was not available and we were running late even though we had given a lot of notice. Room a little hot and when asked for a lighter duvet, given a scratchy bedcover. The area is still developing - eventually this will be a perfect location (mall, waterfront, restaurants) but still a lot of work going on, poor traffic in the corner to get to Tersane but this is not under the control of the hotel.

This was my second stay at the hotel and we genuinely like the facility and appreciate the ambition behind the concept. The property shows significant investment and offers very spacious rooms — our upgraded room was exceptionally large with impressive high ceilings. The spa facilities are the best in town, and the breakfast quality itself is high. The gym is also absolutely stunning!
Overall, we feel the hotel is significantly overpriced for Istanbul considering the level of service provided. The team often felt inattentive and not very well organized. At this price category, a more personal approach and guest recognition would be expected, especially on a return stay, but this was missing.
Communication with the butler via WhatsApp was polite but not particularly helpful, and it took almost a week and several follow-ups to receive a simple expense invoice. Operational staff were highly visible throughout the property, including cleaners frequently using guest elevators and moving through public areas — something that usually feels more discreetly managed in comparable luxury hotels.
In the spa, several elements were not fully functioning (especially the jacuzzis), and despite visiting daily, we were only proactively offered service on the last day. The high temperature spa thermometers are super hot be careful to not burn your fingers… we told tht to the team at the first visit but … next time it remained unchanged…Heating in the rooms relies on air conditioning, which made it difficult to achieve comfortable warmth during winter and created very dry air. Breakfast is extremely expensive (around €150), and again the service level did not match the premium pricing.
