L'appartement est situé au 2e étage d'un bloc de 7 étages. Une galerie permet de passer un peu de temps dehors.
Il est localisé à moins de 5 minutes de marche de la station Gambetta du métro et tout juste à côté du cimetière du Père Lachaise. Il y a de nombreux restaurants et une épicerie juste en face en plus des boulangeries à proximité.
L'appartement est grand et on y circule facilement. La douche est grande et l'eau très chaude.
Les lits sont confortables et on a la place pour ranger nos vêtements.
La galerie était recouverte de crottes de pigeons. On n'a pas profiter de cette dernière.
L'appartement est localisé au coin des rues Pyrénées et Rondonneaux et la circulation est abondante et bruyante. Un soir, des policiers ont du intervenir au pied du bloc.
Les portes d'accès à la galerie ne peuvent pas être barrées. Il nous fallait fermer les volets de métal à tous les soirs pour assurer la sécurité. Même chose lorsqu'on partait le jour. Ceci avait un effet sur la ventilation de l'appartement ...
La toilette est localisée dans une toute petite pièce d'environ 1m par 1m. Une personne de plus de 1,8m ne pourra pas s'asseoir sur la toilette sans se tortiller. L'intimité de la salle de toilette est à revoir totalement alors que le son de chaque bruit de corps est amplifié par un écho sonore à faire rougir.
À notre arrivée, une odeur d'égout sortait de la toilette et elle revenait régulièrement pour empester tout l'appartement. J'ai contacté l'administration afin d'avoir une vérification de la source du problème et une canette de parfum nous a été livrée au lieu de s'attaquer au problème.
Notez qu'il y a du tapis à la grandeur de l'appartement pour les personnes incommodées.

The apartment was very clean, bright, and well decorated. The location is great with easy access to transport and shops nearby. The beds were comfortable, the living space was pleasant, and everything we needed for a short stay was available. Check-in and communication were smooth.

The apartment is clean and well equipped for a much longer stay. I think it would provide good value for people who want to stay in Paris for a week or more and be self-sufficient. There's a grocery store across the street and a boulangerie less than a block away. The seafood restaurant next door is good and there's a cafe just up the street. It's also very close to the metro and buses.
Although the access instructions are good, one crucial step provided a grayed out box instead of a photo of the actual location of the key box. This omission created some confusion and resulted in me checking into the apartment much later than I'd anticipated. My phone wasn't working, so I couldn't call the contact number, but I sent two emails to the email address, which remained unanswered. Fortunately, while I was fumbling about in the lobby, the neighbour, who lives downstairs from the apartment, came by and showed me the location of the key box.
