Perfect location for our 5 night stay and the people / places we’d planned to visit. It had everything we needed and in a quiet rural setting next to stables and a farm house. The downstairs sitting and kitchen area was also reasonably cool, even during some exceptionally hot weather.
Apart from knocking heads on the ceiling upstairs a couple of times (despite the obvious warning signs) there really wasn’t anything to grumble about.

So comfortable in the cool lounge which was a blessing in extreme heat. Well equipped kitchen and a very comfortable super king bed and velux window over it to let heat out. Great en-suite with a good shower and plenty of storage in bedroom.
The garden was a real bonus to sit out in and there are so many different species of birds to see or listen to. Nice to see the horses as well. Marianne is an excellent host and helps her guests in every way to make sure their stay is comfortable. Lots of information about places to visit and pubs to eat in. Knowledge of these things help to make a great holiday.

The property is so beautifully-appointed, with a fabulous bed! But best of all is the stone courtyard, with a wonderful view and an array of planting you'd love to have at home. The location is idyllic and crucially a 15-minute walk to two great pubs!
