We had the best stay. Not only were the villa, the pool, and the garden absolutely beautiful but Connie and Mauro made it feel like home away from home. They really thought of ever little detail. Connie gave us the best recommendations for gelato, dinner, and parking wherever we wanted to go. The cooking class was our personal highlight where we got to learn italian cooking skills from Mauro. The dinner after with everyone was like having dinner with family. We absolutely loved it and can’t wait to be back!

Un séjour absolument exceptionnel à la Villa Grande Sogno ! Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été séduits par la beauté du lieu et par l’atmosphère paisible qui s’en dégage. Le site est tout simplement magnifique, au cœur d’une Toscane splendide, avec des paysages à couper le souffle. La villa est superbe, pleine de charme, parfaitement entretenue et décorée avec beaucoup de goût.
Mais ce qui rend ce séjour vraiment inoubliable, c’est surtout la qualité de l’accueil. Nos hôtes ont été d’une gentillesse et d’une attention remarquables, toujours disponibles et soucieux de rendre notre séjour le plus agréable possible. On se sent immédiatement bien, presque comme chez soi, tout en profitant d’un cadre exceptionnel.
Nous avons passé des moments merveilleux et repartons avec de très beaux souvenirs. Une adresse rare, authentique et pleine de charme, que nous recommandons sans la moindre hésitation. Nous reviendrons avec un immense plaisir !

We had a fantastic 6 days at the Villa Gran Sogno. The place is wonderful. The location is truly special surrounded by gorgeous countryside with the vineyards giving a quilted pattern to the vista. Looking across at a vineyard from an infinity pool is something else. The villa is beautifully decorated and the bedroom is sumptuous. The gardens are equally as delightful as is the poolside area. The hosts Mauro and Connie are the friendliest, most accommodating hosts you will ever meet. We had the pleasure of their company on more than one occasion and the laughs never stopped. We left the Villa feeling like we were leaving good mates behind and that we had visited some long standing friends. We couldn’t recommend this place more highly. A slice of heaven in Tuscany.

Homely feel. Peaceful sanctuary, secured but close to amenities in nearby Castellina. Exceptional pool and vistas of Tuscany & vineyards.
