About this house rental
Comfortable, Nicely Furnished 4 bedroom, 3 bath house. Awesome dock located about 1,800 feet from property along easily followed trail through Corps of Engineer's Land. The Dock is in water year round.
IMPORTANT - Cherokee County has strict ordinance that allows a maximum of 6 overnight guests 11 years or older, 10 is the maximum number of overnight guests when including children 10 years of age or younger. The house is NOT set up for large group gatherings. Overnight starts at 12 am midnight and goes until 7 am.
Unbeatable dock - 30' x 30' sundeck with two tables, Jet ski pads, umbrella & chairs, lots of space around dock, great swimming, great sitting place under sundeck. Dock is a gentle-sloping 1,800-foot walk from the property that takes about 5 minutes.
Keep your boat at the dock or rent our 23" Cypres Cay pontoon boat.
The house is nicely furnished with two king beds, one queen bed for the adults, and bunk beds for the kids. The house maximum is 6 guests of age 11 years or older, or a maximum of 10 guests when including children 10 years of age or younger. The kitchen is fully equipped. Washer/dryer. We have 3 TVs, a 55' LED TV in the living room, and GREAT Wi-Fi 450 Mbps, Down stairs we have a 42" TV and second kitchen eating area, and a 70' LED UHD TV. Down stairs is somewhat handicap accessible - ask for more information.
We have a Sonos speaker system throughout the house that allows you to play your music. Surround sound in the living room, speakers in the bedroom, down stairs, and in the gaming room.
Please remember the house rules:
1 - IMPORTANT - The house is NOT set up for large group gatherings, the maximum overnight guests of age 11 years or older is 6, and the maximum overnight guests when including children 10 years of age or younger is 10. The maximum number of overnight guests allowed at the house at anytime is 10. This is NOT a party house!
2 - The driveway has room for 4 cars, street parking is not allowed so please be sure to keep cars off the street and out of the neighbors grass.
3 - Do not leave trash on the lake property - we provide trash cans at the house and trash bags for your use. Please help us protect and preserve the lake!

The host was absolutely amazing and so easy to work with. The deck and dock area was beautiful. Unfortunately due to weather conditions we didn't get to enjoy it as we'd hope. But the pool table and board games kept us entertained. It was great having two kitchens and three bathrooms. It is a very family friendly home. As the hostess states it is a short walk to the lake through the woods. It is a beautiful walk. Walking back is up hill, but my mother is 82 ( a young 82) and was capable of the walk. If you are looking for a quiet community to relax and enjoy nature this is a amazing place. We found it very easy to get what ever we needed in a 15 to 20 minute drive. Don't miss downtown Woodstock it has so many cute shops and plenty of restaurants.

My family of eight had a wonderfully comfortable stay at this property. There were plenty of beds for everyone, and the finished basement became our favorite hangout spot — we played countless games of pool and made great memories down there.Although most of our six‑day stay was rainy, we did get one beautiful sunny day to enjoy the fantastic dock and spend time kayaking on the lake. The setting is peaceful, wooded, and perfect for anyone who loves being close to nature. I also want to highlight the excellent communication with the host. We planned to grill on Mother’s Day, but the propane tank was empty. I reached out on Sunday morning, and the host responded immediately; within an hour, someone arrived to replace the tank. Truly impressive service and very much appreciated. I highly recommend this property to anyone who enjoys lakefront stays, being surrounded by quiet woods, and needs a comfortable space for a larger group.

We were a group of mostly senior citizens. Lots of stairs. Some items were in disrepair and not usable. And the lake was quite a hike from the house, with lots of rocks and tree roots.Communication with owner was not a problem. Unsafe environment.
