Unfortunately, this property did not meet our expectations, and we chose to end our 4-week stay after just one week.The first issue we encountered was the pool. The skimmer basket was broken and sitting at the bottom of the pool, resulting in constant debris in the water.Additionally, we discovered numerous maintenance and cleanliness issues. The master bathroom shower leaked severely, soaking bath mats and towels after each use, and the shower handle was extremely difficult to operate. The hall bathroom shower handle was broken and would fall off. The refrigerator's filtered water and ice dispenser did not work. The garage light was inoperable even after replacing the bulb, forcing us to open the garage door for light when using the washer and dryer.The patio was dirty, the grill and grilling utensils had not been cleaned, and we found spiderwebs throughout the property, including in the kitchen area. The carpets were noticeably dirty, and overall maintenance appeared lacking.Due to these issues, we requested to shorten our stay. The host agreed to refund the unused portion of our reservation but then stopped responding to our messages. We were forced to involve VRBO, and the matter has been escalated to their Resolution Team. We have now been advised to pursue a chargeback through our bank.The maintenance issues were disappointing, but the lack of communication and failure to follow through on the agreed refund is what ultimately led me to leave a 1 star review.
