(This property is registered with the Town of Bar Harbor, License #VR2R26-295) (Please note, during the summer weeks and based on availability, we prefer a weekly rental with a 7 night minimum stay. All other stays have a minimum four nights per town rules.)
THE ART NOOK
Located on Cottage Street in the heart of downtown Bar Harbor, the Art Nook puts you within easy walking distance of virtually everything Bar Harbor has to offer. You'll have your own off-street parking space, allowing you to park your car when you arrive and enjoy the convenience of walking to restaurants, shops, the waterfront and many of Bar Harbor's attractions.
The Art Nook comfortably accommodates up to four guests with two bedrooms, each furnished with a queen bed, and two full bathrooms with tub/showers.
The second-floor apartment has been thoughtfully renovated and decorated, with original artwork throughout. The spacious living area provides a comfortable place to relax after a day of exploring, while the modern kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'll need to prepare meals at home. The apartment also includes a laundry room, high-speed Wi-Fi, Smart TV and cable TV, Smart Lock entry, and full air conditioning.
WALK EVERYWHERE
One of the best things about staying at the Art Nook is that you can park your car when you arrive and walk almost everywhere. Restaurants, shops, the Village Green and the Shore Path are all within an easy walk, and the Island Explorer is nearby for exploring Acadia National Park without having to move your car.
The grocery store is only a block away, along with bicycle, kayak and motor-scooter rentals. Bar Island, part of Acadia National Park, is also just a short walk away. At low tide, you can walk across the exposed sandbar and hike Bar Island for beautiful views of Bar Harbor. Be sure to check the tide schedule and allow plenty of time to return before the tide comes back in.
EXPLORE ACADIA NATIONAL PARK
The free seasonal Island Explorer bus can be reached at the Village Green, making it easy to explore Acadia without having to drive everywhere. The Island Explorer provides access to many popular destinations throughout Acadia, including Cadillac Mountain and Sand Beach.
If golf is your thing, historic Kebo Valley Golf Club is also nearby. Established in 1888, Kebo is the oldest golf club in Maine and the eighth-oldest in the United States, and is open to public play.

The apartment is in an ideal location, you can easily walk to shops, restaurants and the grocery store. The apartment was extremely well appointed with plenty of pots, pans and utensils. Bobby was a wonderful host!

Great place, very convenient location! The property is exactly as described and an extremely comfortable place to stay. I would definitely return and the host was very responsive to the few questions that I had. Loved the easy access and the dedicated parking spot, particularly in a town that is hard to find parking.
