About this cottage rental
Rubblestone Cottage is a pretty cottage adjoining Rubblestone farmhouse with a garden for you to relax in and to enjoy the peace of the countryside. Situated in a very peaceful (owners have retired from farming) and pleasant farming countryside, only six miles from Aldeburgh, five miles from Snape Maltings concert hall, five miles from RSPB Nature Reserve at Minsmere and a 15 minute drive from seaside town of Southwold On the edge of the Suffolk Heritage Coast it is an ideal area to discover either on foot, cycle or by car. The Cottage provides comfortable accommodation for up to 4 people. On the ground floor there is a sitting room with an electric effect woodburner, television and dvd player, a well-equipped kitchen includes an electric cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, washing machine and dining area. The little room off the kitchen leads to a shower room with WC. A straight flight of stairs leads to first floor, which has two bedrooms, one a double and the other two single beds. Outside there is ample parking, a small patio area and use of the lawns (with a open pond) also storage for your cycles if required. Rubblestone Cottage is situated 3 miles from the market town of Saxmundham which has a Waitrose and Tesco supermarkets and a host of small shops, cafe's and takeaway restaurants. Heating is included. Unfortunately we can not cater for pets.

We had a wonderful time in this quaint cottage. Sadly, our 3-day long stay was too short. Comfortable beds, calm, fresh decor and well stocked kitchen. The old farmhouse has an interesting history with architectural features that are unusual. Good base for cycling and enjoyable country walks. We'll come back. Not far from important places to visit.

Perfect cottage to watch spring unfold, set in beautiful Suffolk countryside. Good base for easy drive to the sea or Forrest. The house was super clean and well appointed with all amenities, good kitchen with all equipment plus appreciated the hairdryer and mirror next to electrical socket. Thoughtful and caring vibe, comfortable and a perfect hideaway from the city. Thank you.

Clean and well-equipped with all amenities. Very comfortable and quiet. A nice south-facing patio area to enjoy the warm sun. Near enough to the nearest town to make shopping easy but very much a rural spot with some narrow country roads to navigate. Perfect location for us as birdwatchers, being not far from Minsmere but good for the coast too.
