The communication with the host was great. The room, kitchen / dining area and the bathroom are clean. Lots of parking space in the vicinity. Very safe and clean area and neighborhood. The room is private. The rest of the basement is shared with a host's family member who is very quiet and polite. I'd recommend this place as a financial viable solution.

Room was clean, well maintained and blankets and towels were all supplied.
The bathroom was clean, nice shower!
Kitchen was clean, fridge, microwave and stove top cooker included,
Only 1 drive way spot for parking available, street parking is not really an option, especially for bigger/longer cars, as you end up blocking someone’s driveway.
Although, when we arrived I was confused to see an older gentleman sitting on the couch, and had said we rented the place, only to find out it was just a room.
The owners of the house living upstairs, but their uncle lives in one of the rooms downstairs.
Not what I was expecting, as from my understanding it was the whole suite, anyhow, he was a nice gentleman, and didn’t mind much of our buisness for the 1 night we were their, but seemed to supervise us while using the stove and the kitchen area, which seemed unsettling.
