This Brand new Luxury triplex finished in Jan 2019. Unit A is located on the 1st floor. Relaxing rooftop deck with La Palapa, pool, BBQ, couch, table and chairs with a fabulous view of the lagoon. Casa Chiva is located on one of the most charming streets in Barra and the units have a modern sophisticated feel, using indigenous Mexican materials.
Casa Chiva consists of 3 one bedroom units. Each Unit has wood-tiled floors, terrazzo countertops, full kitchen, air conditioning, flat screen TV equipped with roku as well as wireless internet connection. Unit A is downstairs and unit B and C are located upstairs. The building is situated in the middle of the Barra peninsula and is located within 100 paces from over 20 Restaurants, bars, stores, Fish market , ferry and charter boat businesses, all set in a safe and private setting. Casa Chiva puts you in the center of it all!

Located in the busy area of Barra de Navidad. Shops and restaurants literally around the corner. Lots of local food vendors and small grocery stores. It can be noisy at night but I found that when I went into bedroom the noise decreased significantly and I was not bothered at all, slept well. Bed very comfortable and minisplit air conditioning in bedroom. Unit is small enough that just bedroom ac is enough to keep place comfortable. Ceiling fans added to comfort. Kitchen was adequate with utensils and pans. Had everything I needed. Lots of hot water for shower. Upper deck pool and patio area was spectacular with views of the harbor/inlet area. The Wi-Fi worked well without any issues. I felt very safe in this location. Would stay there again. Manager Abel very nice. Couldn’t figure out how to call his cell even using country code but that was probably my issue, not his. I would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable well equipped apartment. Rooftop pool and palapa great for reading and relaxing. So close to a variety of shops and restaurants!
