Manuel Antonio National Park is home to an astonishing variety of tropical wildlife. Explore the Park on a well-established network of trails. The most interesting trail is the small loop that takes you around Punta Cathedral, with its breathtaking view of the Pacific. The newly developing Marina Pez Vela has amazing restaurants and specialty stores. Shop at the Farmer's Market every Friday evening or Saturday morning. With a variety of outdoor adventure and nightlife, the bustling village center composes six blocks of restaurants, bars, hotels, art galleries and gift shops, all resting beside the main beach and sport fishing fleet.
Less than two hours away, you will find Carara National park where you will experience biodiversity at its best! This 4700-hectare park is the northern-most tropical wet forest on the Pacific Coast. Hike with your naturalist guide through the reserve, and admire views of surrounding rice fields, palm plantations and cattle ranches. Crocodiles can often be spotted in the nearby Rio Tarcoles!

We had a wonderful stay here! Everyone we encountered from our host Maria to maid service was helpful and friendly. The pool and view were our favorite parts and made it hard to even want to leave the villa!

Property is as advertised and super private. Pool was fantastic, and the view can't be beat. Communication from host is clear and helpful. You have to meet in town and follow someone to the property but that is actually the best way to do it because it's not super easy to find with GPS. Be prepared to go up some steep hills and sharp curves (have the right vehicle). However, once you know where it is, it's actually very centrally located to restaurants, Manuel Antonio Nat'l Park, and shopping. I think this property is a touch pricey but very worth it. This one was our splurge for this trip and we wished we could have stayed there longer. Best place we stayed for our entire 9 day trip in Costa Rica --- cleanest, upscale, private, no bugs (which is hard to do in CR), best view. You just can't beat this one. Book it!

We recently stayed at the Voted Most Romantic Villa with Private Infinity Pool Ocean View in Quepos, Costa Rica, and honestly, it was incredible.From the moment we arrived, we were blown away. The villa is spotless, really well looked after, and feels super private. The infinity pool is the real highlight—the views over the ocean are absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. We found ourselves just sitting there every evening taking it all in.It feels like you’re tucked away in your own little jungle paradise, with loads of wildlife around, but you’re still close enough to restaurants and Manuel Antonio if you want to head out. It’s the perfect mix of peaceful and convenient.Communication with the villa manager was easy the whole time, and anything we needed was sorted quickly (specifically checking routes down from Monteverde via the infamous Crocodile Bridge). The only thing of note to mention is the drive up to the villa is really steep, so definitely get a small-ish 4x4. We had a Nissan X-Trail which was almost too big but we made it without catching a wall. Walking up is a struggle!! But honestly, it’s worth it for the views and the privacy.Overall, we had an amazing stay and would 100% recommend it. It’s the perfect spot if you’re looking for something romantic, relaxing, and a bit special.
