About this house rental
All new efficiency with full kitchen, private entrance, big back yard with BBQ!! on a quiet street, but very close to down town Redwood City and its theaters!!, multiplex cinema, and great restaurants. "Basement" apartment, but with street level entrance covered seating area outside front door. Air conditioner. Owners, empty nest professional couple, livein ADU (new house) at back of lot. Queen size bed, sofa, 55" Amazon Stick TV, brand new upgraded bathroom with bath tub/shower

The apartment was attractive and pleasant. The hosts were easy to get along with. We have one suggestion. Out near the street there are cement cutouts that have succulents planted in them. The soil is more than an inch below the sidewalk. The first evening we were there, my wife’s foot slipped off the sidewalk into the plant area, resulting in a painful ankle sprain. It is still bothering her over a week later. We suggest that the soil be brought up to about a half inch below the sidewalk, which should prevent this happening again. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. It’s in a nice neighborhood and an easy drive or train ride into San Francisco.

Exactly as described - small but perfect for a couple with everything needed. Extras such as the home made appetizer left for us on arrival, plus filter coffee and condiments were much appreciated. Easy street parking and very quiet area. Loved the jigsaw puzzle collection and extra books. We will be back - thank you.

Only issue was low ceilings, especially bathroom. Husband hit his head a few times on enclosed beam. Low showerhead. I’m 5’8” & low for me. Loved the patio area & neighborhood. Would stay there again to visit our daughter.
