About this house rental
Luxury home, 4BR (and a loft with queen pull out), 2 1/2BA (including outside shower) 360 degree water views overlooking crystal clear Caribbean water and estuary behind the house that is a nursery for sea turtles, and endless wildlife. Take the kayak and paddleboards (included) and explore! Or relax with a drink on the huge lower deck or upper deck off of the 360 degree glass room on second floor, while gazing at the magnificent sunset and crystal clear water or gazing at the endless stars at night. The home is perched atop the bluff which offers exquisite views and the fine pink/white sand beach is just a few steps away. There is a restaurant/bar resort located within walking distance down the beach. (Call ahead for meal arrangements.) Find adventure all over the island - paddling to the blue holes, diving, snorkeling, bonefishing and deep sea fishing are just some of the activities offered on Cat Island. There is history abound here on Cat Island, including The Hermitage, which is located at the highest elevation in all the Bahamas. The Bat Cave is a fun place to also explore. Exactly as described. Gorgeous house, amazing beach, well stocked. Definitely would come back if the opportunity arises. If you are thinking about coming here to relax and unwind on Cat Island…do it!

Amanda’s place was the perfect stay for our multigenerational family. It is so beautiful and peaceful. The beach in front of the property is gorgeous. We spent hours swimming, strolling, and looking for conch and starfish. The night sky is dazzling with no pollution and more stars than you can imagine. The house is spacious, airy and very comfortable. We will be back!
